I saw a Twitter/X post from someone, maybe Ashley Elam, that attendance at the PN-G v. SOC game was estimated at 33,000. It was loud inside AT&T during the 4th quarter. The Purple Pride Band was firing up Cherokee and the War Chant and it got LOUD!

To be precise, it was 33,913.

Now that you mention it, I don’t seem to remember that god awful drum banging in the 4th quarter. I think we drowned it out. Now that’s a big win right there.

After we recovered that on-side kick, Shea punched in the TD and Nguyen converted the two-pointer, our crowd became louder than I can ever remember it being - and that’s saying something. When SOC got the ball back and we all knew we needed to disrupt their offense, the Indian Faithful absolutely roared. It was like being back in Bryant-Denny or Death Valley.

We’ve had a lot of loud moments this year. That was the loudest. I couldn’t be much prouder of the fans and spirit groups for never giving up on the team and coaches, or the team and coaches for never giving up on themselves. The best of PN-G was on display for all to see yesterday.

I wish someone had full crowd video of those last few moments. That would be epic.

IndianFan - you need to save that official stat sheet on www.pngindians.com (save it there forever!). Save it so we can look back on it 50 years from now when I am 103 years old.
Everything will be saved. After there has been enough time for people to read articles at their sources, it will all be archived on the web site for future reading. Of course it will all have their proper credits and hyperlinks back to source. Stat sheet included.

This needs to be updated as well. It lists Tyson Henry for 3 receptions but it should be Reid Richard.
Several names are incorrect. It lists #4 Zion Linton as a leading tackler. Starting linebacker #4 is Mason Wuenschel.

That is the official UIL box score and game report. If someone can go through that and send an email to the UIL to correct all player name issues, please do. If no one volunteers I will do it.

Replace Tyson Henry with Richard on the reception list

Ok sorry I see that was already noticed
Haha

They had SEVEN possessions and we basically had 7 if you don’t count the last :12 of the first half and kneel down at the end
That’s not many times to have the ball
That’s what this type of game plan does

How did Chatagnier only have 1 yard???? I remember him bulldozing someone for more than that. Did he lose that much on the other few carries?

I think they were keying on him when in the game.
I’m pretty sure he did have one 15 yard run as well
Then about 3-4 either loss of 1-2 or no gain
I know he had the good reception but I think he did have a rush (could be wrong
Also pretty sure I saw somewhere 13 yds rushing (maybe I’m going crazy lol)

You may have seen the posted stats here. The Dallas morning news had him down for 13 yards rushing. I thought his long run was a pitch out. That’s a wrinkle that the coaches added for SOC and it worked well.

Yes
Maybe they’ll replay it on Bally sometime
For some reason my DVR won’t let me save things so I come home and it’s erased again
