unless you sit next to the band, do you hear the band playing on the other end? I do not , the players come running in and not hearing cherokee, just does not get the fans on the other end to fired up. Maybe we need to play it on the new scoreboard? also , when our band is on the field performing it hard to hear them playing when Durham is annoucing the twirles, indianettes officers etc,

and they need to have someone at the railing to keep people moving and not stand there to watch game/halftime so the others down below can see. the ppl that are handicap and in wheelchairs, etc can not see anything besides the backside of hte person standing there!

these are things that need to be address for next year, anyone else has any thought or suggustion? Need to let the power to be know these things!

Although I don't agree with the man with the cane hitting people getting in his way, I understand his frustration. I had a woman sitting behind us who had 3 kids who came to play. I got hit in the back, the head and, even worse, this one kid kept yelling in our ears! He was screaming at the top of his lungs! On top of that, many kids would climb over us multiple times, in and out. How many times does a child need to go to the restroom? I didn't hit the kid behind me, but I sure as h### glared at the parent (although that did no good-she never corrected any of those kids). I looked for a PNG school official to handle it, but guess what--no one was there! Hubby kept me from having a "discussion" with that parent. On the other hand, the gentleman in front of us had his 4 year old son there and he was an angel. The school district needs an area for parents to sit with their kids as they play instead of watching the game.

Well, I have two little darlings...my daughter is 14, so she does not sit with me much, but I expect her to at least watch the game instead of run around under the stands the whole time! My son is 5 and he sits with us, and I can tell you that I make sure he is on his best behavior. He does play some, but I do not tolerate yelling, stomping, kicking people in the back, or anything else that may distract others from enjoying the game. I usually let him bring a couple of toys to keep him occupied. I try not to be so strict on him that he hates coming to the games, but I do expect him to respect others and not act like a "brat"! I have to confess that I am usually one of the ones that leaves the game early, not because of the team, but because I have a small child that needs to get to bed, and he usually has a soccer game early on Sat.

I personally think that it's some of the adults that need to learn to behave. I had a lady that was sitting in front of me, and one of the teachers at the high school came by to ask her mother, who sits behind me, if she had seen her son. The lady in front said, very loudly.."Would you get the He** out of the way!" Then the lady behind me said something not so polite to her, but did not use any offensive language. The lady in front then turned around and said "F*** You, to the lady behind me! Of course a screaming match insued with the "F" bombed being dropped several times! All the while me and my family were caught in the middle! My son's eyes were as big as saucers and he was very upset by what was going on. I told the lady in front that she needed to watch her mouth when little ones were around! All she could say was "Then plug his ears!" No, apology, or anything! The people behind me did apologize for getting loud and said they hoped my son wasn't too upset. I didn't blame them at all, this lady did not have to be so ugly, the teacher was only in front of her for a few seconds. I have not seen this lady there all season, so I'm hoping she won't be back next year. I just think everyone needs to learn to behave, adults included!

that is nuts when grown adults act like teenagers!

think PNGISD needs to have a policy for conduct at the game, if you break the conduct then you aer escorted out of game and a warning! If some many warnings/escorted out then you are banned from the games! About all professinal teams have some form of conduct policy. so we should have one too!

Yep...it's the parents responsibility to make sure the little tykes behave properly.

But when you witness some of the parents behavior/language, it all makes sense as to why the kids are such angels. ::) Some of what I've seen makes me think that they left their brains at the ticket booth.
Are you sure the "lady" who said FU wasn't really a guy cause a real lady doesn't use that language.

Yep, it was a lady, although not a very attractive one, she probably could have passed for a man, especially with a mouth like that! When she told me to "cover his ears", I told her "maybe I should cover his eyes!" ;D She didn't have anything else to say after that.

People don't want to discipline their children because they want the children to be free to be whom ever they are ALA NATRUAL..and by no means render punishment of any kind surely don't want the CHILD to report me or get angry at me...So the misbehaving is and will continue unless guidelines are set with consequences....having said that, I suggest providing the new Behavior Enforced Guidelines for future games be sent out BEFORE the end of this year so the parents and CHILDREN can have time to think and let it sink in, settle in, most people have a hard time adjusting to changes. Hopefully the security will do their jobs on this matter too...?

I have to say I agree with NDMmom91. Sounds like a responsible parent to me. However, I do think a lot of the "kid problems" began when they removed the endzone seats. I understand kids need to use the restroom, but not every ten minutes. The seats at Central were so close those trying to get in and out actually had to sit in my lap to get out (I admit I'm not tiny). I didn't mind the first two times the same child climbed over me, but the sixth time was just too much.

This thread was from last year, and aside from the things that happened at the Central game, I have not heard of any problems this year. I have seen the Criminal Justice kids working under the stands making sure kids go back to their seats and not hang around down there....that is GREAT! I think things have improved a lot since last year...keep it up!

We must sit in a good section cause I have not had any of these problems. I have a 6 year old and a 2 year old. They watch the game and goof around but there is a whole bunch of kids that age that sit right in our area so everybody is fine with it. The adults that don't have kids bring candy and actually play with the kids It's great. Of course we have been sitting by these people since I was a kid so we all know each other well. I only had problems last year with adults that wanted to chit-chat while standing in the aisles. These adults would talk forever while they were in everyones way. This year was much better, maybe because we were winning and they were more interested. I don't know, but it is better now

I think it was harder at Central because the seats were so close together. I do agree that things have improved a lot since the new stadium opened.
