The dark grey will fade soon enough, and it'll be a lighter grey, then everyone will be happy.

Purple would have faded REALLY fast. leaving us with lavender. Now THAT'S an intimidating color.

Do you know how much Purple siding would have cost? Special colors are expensive. Although I have heard that siding can be painted if it is treated with a solution of vinegar and water.....

Purple would have faded REALLY fast too. Grey is probably fairly safe, at least compared to most other colors.
